Checking the image with the bottle (ISO 6400), I can tell that D4 can do much better than the D700/D3. But I can't really tell if we consider the 3 years of time for the potential improvements. OTOH, apart from the sensor, the AF and metering seems to be just with that respect.

By the way, the new 85mm seems to have a decent bokeh but suffers from color fringes... And I suspect there exist some color fringes which are not caused by the lens itself (the last image, highlights around shutter release button)...
