84mm vs. 112mm is not only "a few mm"



Tunnel OVF is not my cup of tea, but many people like it.



E-PL3 has a certified crappy sensor, low-res LCD, bad ergonomics, no built-in flash or viewfinder.



The features set of the G1X is fine and attractive for many people. I think it all depends on pricing. If they price it like the GX1 + EVF + 14-42mm PZ ($1200), then they won't move a lot of units. If they price it like Fuji X10 or a bit more ($600~$700) then it will sell in heaps.



Edit: I just saw the price. $800 MSRP. It's going to be a success.
