I cant' find the reverence but a couple of months ago olympus announced they were working on mirror less camera with evf (I think at the time the hint was that it would be 4/3 (not micro 4/3) but naturally much smaller than e-3/e-5 and much better view finder than e-620.

With regards to the 12mp sensor they have been using; while I have no information on the matter I have to believe it is panasonic that has been preventing them from using the newer 16mp sensor; so hopefully the new cameras going forward will use that sensor. Vaguely it seems like everytime panasonic introduces a new sensor there is a period of a year or so where olympus is held back so I woudl speculate there is some agreement to that effect.

Anyways if this body is 4/3 it creates a bit of an interesting issue. The 4/3 zooms are nicer (faster) thant he u 4/3 (14-55 and 12-60) but all the new primes (45f1.8, 12f2 and 25f1.4) are u4/3. Hum. Perhaps there is too much speculation here and we (I) should wait and see what this new beast really is - though I would find if hard to believe it is not u 4/3 or 4/3. I mean can olympus really afford to bring out a new lens system at this late date ?

Ok I just read the link; and they are also suggesting it will be the 16 mp sensor. Hum. So basically a gx1 (if u 4/3 and not 4/3) with built in evf (though not as good as nex evf; thread in dpreview suggest it is nearly same quality). I wonder if this will be u4/3 or 4/3. Hum.
