For me, it is kind of nostalgic pain to watch Olympus doing the same mistake with the 4/3 format on and on... Yes, it may be successful as a great micro4/3 mirorrless solution but it will never be the no.1 choice of any more demanding (semi)pro - they will pick the full frame instead in most cases. The sad thing is Olympus could do so much with their emphasis on detail and great optics; but who cares for the fabulous f2 lenses when they behave like f4 in terms of depth of field due to the crop factor.... Who cares for the superb and thorough build quality of their semipro bodies when the 4/3 sensor will always be the limiting factor in IQ compared to full frame chips.... God, if they only made the OM-1 with many mechanical controls with full frame chip accompanied by say 24-105/f4, 24/f2, 35/1.4, 85/1.4 and 135/f2 lenses... is the market segment for this really that uninspiring?
