Funnily enough it doesn't sound any different from Phase Detect AF, really <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
' />. I thought this already when I read the original article. And it will still all depend on processor speed, and effective algorithms, and will still have to take the lens used into account.
