There aren't many full-size samples available out there.

No, amazingly enough the sides are often cropped, in landscape mode, and top and bottom in portrait mode. I wonder why.... <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
I assume you have looked at LL? http://www.luminous-...review.shtml#24
From what I see, these pictures only confirm your findings. In real life photography this doesn't probably matter all that much, or in web sized prints, but I reckon in testing it does.
Here's another one:

If you check the shots with walls more or less parallel to the sensor plane, I think it is quite obvious that even at F/5.6 or F/6.3 the corners are falling off quite strongly with regard to sharpness.
I remember seeing a test somewhere, including a comparison between 5n and 7, where it was quite obvious as well, but somehow the reviewer made it all sound better than it was and than the 5n, which to me it clearly wasn't.
Maybe the latest firmware fixes some if this?
Kind regards, Wim
