We know they can deliver fantastic results in the field, but can they hold their own in the PZ lab? <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Markus tested the Nikkor 200 f/2, would be very interesting to see results for the Canon equivalent (and for that matter, the legendary EF 200 f/1.8).

If we're off into the realm of fantasy why not the 50/1.0 L as well. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Ah, the 180 L. I almost forgot it existed but I guess I can be forgiven for that. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> 50 CM is pretty rare so I guess we'll have to wait until someone lends this one to Klaus.
There will be one inevitably as this field is evolving constantly. Who could've thought just 5-6 years ago that there can be such a thing as a sharp 18-55 kit lens?

Quote:The 50mm f/2.5 CM is a good standard prime on FF, with a somewhat modest max aperture, of course. You are right about the 28-135 IS, but I think the primes are more important (particularly the 180L).

Quote:As for APS-C, it would be nice to see a lens that could topple the Sigma 17-50's center performance <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
