Is 150mm equiv. that different to the classic 135mm focal length for example? Just 10% more... ok, you don't get the speed, but you don't always need the speed. Practically speaking, if you need the speed, you need a bigger sensor. If you choose a smaller sensor you have to accept the drop in equiv. max aperture. Just make the most of whatever working focal length you get.
