Looking at the specs of the D800 it's so tempting <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
' /> with all the small and not so small improvements, the fact that it takes so much from the D4.. I do already feel the bite of the Nikon acquisition syndrome <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
' />
Although there is a second thought there - my D700 is not really holding me back, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. So will my photography improve becouse of a D800 ? <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
' />
Noise at moderately high ISO (1600-3200), tonality in skins and overall color rendition would be more important for me - in the way that I wouldn't like to give up on that (D700) quality for the sake of 36Mp and improved Af module..
So I also wonder if the discussion on resolution and lens matching is really valid, I mean for the majority of users, as I guess most of us do not print bigger than A3 ? If at all.. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
' /> Would I see the difference in detail on A4/A3 prints ?
