Yes, given that I don´t run other Apple devices (no iPod, no iPad) besides my Mini and a Macbook I don´t need to use iTunes at all. And my images are managed using Adobe Bridge. For backups I use SuperDuper because I prefer real bootable clones over the mess Time machine generates. Moreover, for the first time ever I ignored an Apple OS update. OSX 10.7. changed some things in a way I´m not willing to follow.
