This nex-7 phenomenon is just starting to break.
I suspected something was strange looking at the LL samples in the famous n7 vs M9 shot with th 50 lux---the n7 edges were just terrible wide open.
As you can imagine, those invested in the system are very defensive (I have 5n and love it--but am always ready for something better).
Basically it seems we have a wide aperture issue on a number of lenses, including alpha zooms, and even the zeiss 85/1.4, where the edges are not near the level of the 5n.
This is a big deal for normal folks considering the n7 as MF lense platform--so a nice cool synopsis including problem lenses, might save some a ton of money <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
And encourage sony to address the issue asap.
