So you are not the target for the 1D-X. It is a professional photo journalist/sports photographer body with long battery duration. The 5D mk III is for for instance wedding photographers, landscape shooters, and so on... everyone that does not need super high speed shot to shot, long battery time and controls one can operate wearing gloves.



The AF system indeed is the same.
