In other words if you use EQUIVALENT lenses/settings, so:
FF 50mm f4 (aperture 12.5mm)
MFT 25mm f2 (aperture 12.5mm)
and you set ISO equivalent too (for instance FF ISO 400 and MFT ISO 100)
and you expose for the same duration, you get the same exposures, similar field of view, similar DOF.
Not sure what part you are not getting...
If you use an MFT with 25mm f4, and a FF with 50mm f4, you do not even get similar DOF.
