The lenses do not all have sharp corners (notably the CZ 24mm prime) but I do not see that the results are vastly different between the two cameras. So I am not entirely sure that I understand what the problem is. Is the problem limited to rangefinder lenses? Or is the problem only detectable with MTF measurements?

As you confirmed, there is no problem with "Alpha" lenses. The original claim was that problem exists with all lenses, then it changed to large aperture lenses, then the claim changed to large aperture lenses wide open.



We already know that there was issue with certain range finder lenses, so posting links to any range finder lens test is totally irrelevant to Alpha and Nex-emount lenses discussion on Nex-7.



You have both cameras (the Canon fanboys have none), and you did a side-by-side test, and you posted the samples.
