Actually, here we speculate that the thickness of the filter on the pro-1 will limit performance of certain types of lenses on the pro-1.

However, here we are talking about the thickness of a filter design to limit the performance of certain lenses. Not about how a less than perfect lens still can be a joy to use. A fundamental difference, in my opinion.
