To me, it seems, using the adapter and using lenses constructed for a
larger register distance is the key for proper imagequality in corners on a
body like the nex-7. That said, a user of the nex-7 is likely one who wants
(and pays) more portability. So, the 85/1.4 is likely not the most obvious
choice anyway, nevertheless, it's certainly a "benchmark lens".
