Hi, I'm brandnew here. So no words wasted.



Organizing pictures is SO individual. I might say any system will do as long as it has the possibility of keeping an birdseyeview of all you got.



The date-system works marvellous in combinatination with a program like Lightroom, because the tree of organisation can be made as long as you live. The tags make all pictures recognizable and retrievable.



Base problem could be numbering or naming the individual files. There is a handy little program somewhere on the net that does any form of renaming of all chosen files in any directory you want. It has a lot of possibilities and after getting used to the workflow it requires (first times need some thinking for you to make no mistakes)you may find it THE solution to this problem.
