Who cares about the same ISO setting? No serious photographer. Certainly I don't.
I do, however, care about noise performance, exposure time, DOF and view angle.
It is nonsensical to say you care that for the same result you have to set a E-P1 to ISO 100 setting and a Nikon D700 to ISO 400, and that those are not the same numbers. You do NOT care about whatever ISO setting each camera is set, as long as the result is acceptable noise wise.
Similar to focal length really. You do NOT care that one camera has to be set to 17mm, where the other has to be set to 35mm. You just care for the result.
