I do not call you silly (why would I, I do not see you are a silly person in the least), I said that treating ISO setting numbers as something meaningful with digital is silly.
I happen to respect you, and not because you are one of the site's administrators. Silly was just aimed at treating ISO setting numbers as something meaningful. Not your person.
To illustrate how silly ISO setting numbers are: My aging Canon EOS 450D at ISO 100 performs as well as a Nikon D7000 at ISO 400. There is NO reason to set the D7000 to ISO 100 when comparing the cameras, other than to show the D7000 does a better job at ISO 100. The settings that do matter are focal length (or rather: view angle) and aperture size. And, in cases, exposure time.
Not only with different format sensor cameras ISO setting is kinda meaningless, it even is kinda meaningless with similar sized sensor cameras with different sensors.
