And Plochmann; regarding the 3) mentioned above, I was expecting you to ask "why some f/2.8 WAs are larger than the others which have the same FL and maximum aperture" <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />...

Oh, I should he he <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I've just been reading this book lately about building lenses, I find it interesting.
A lot of discussion previous to this is moot and should be dropped. Even mentioning ISO is a speed read past because there is no longer a standard for what they are. Cameras just use whatever and it makes using a real light meter bs. If you have an external light meter, you should be marking t stops and custom ISO's on your camera if you really want to have fun. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' />
