Lenstip review:
(below taken from "Anders w" @ http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/readflat.asp?forum=1041&thread=41237413 )
Lenstip doesn't do lens reviews only but also camera reviews (rather thorough ones, they do test things) although the latter do not (yet) appear in English, only in Polish at the sister site optyczne.pl. The E-M5 review has just appeared
http://www.optyczne.pl/index.php?test=aparat&test_ap=178
and here's my translation of the list of pros and cons:
Pros:
Good IQ over a wide range of ISOs
High resolution
Good low-ISO DR
Solid build with weather sealing
Exceptional retro styling
Rich, clear, and functional menus
Ergonomic buttons
Programmable delay of shutter opening (after it has closed)
Effective and fast AF
Good IQ on OLED (provided it is viewed at the correct angle)
Good touch-screen functionality
Good live-view functionality
MF and AF working well together
High frame-rate in burst mode
Customizable WB scale
Efficient IBIS
Extensive customization options
Live Bulb and Live Time
Art filters available in manual and video mode
Full HD video
External flash included
Effective sensor cleaning
HDMI connector
Cons:
No built-in flash
Included external flash rather weak
OLED colors change significantly when viewed at an angle
Reflections in the OLED in bright surroundings
A decrease in EVF IQ under certain conditions
Some comparative summary scores (maximum is 100):
Olympus E-M5: 60.16
Panasonic G3: 51.40
Sony NEX-5N: 51.07
Nikon V1: 48.82
Some personal highlights:
Test of new IBIS reassuring: 3 EV (see section 3)
Test of low-ISO DR reassuring (look at the pushed samples from the E-M5 and the E-PL1 in section 8)
