Absolutely. A bit like giving you a printer then making you pay top dollar to feed it.
Whilst I have AF-S glass lying in wait, it would be upsetting to have those AF-D ones sitting gathering dust
So yes, D800/E (but not at current prices)is preferable to the mythical D600
Luckily for Nikon, many will disagree and buy it
