Well, it is a full format lens designed for the Leica M9. I only gave it a try on the NEX out of curiosity.

Regarding your argument against MFT. If you take the Voigtlanders you have got a 35mm f/1.8 and 50mm f/1.8. That's not too bad. The 25/0.95 performs quite nicely actually. Eventually they will surely release something like a dedicated 50mm f/0.95 and most people will be happy with the upcoming 75/1.8 anyway (inc. myself).

It wasn't meant as an argument against MFT; I have an MFT system and many of my favourite photographs are taken with it because it's what goes with me on wilderness trips. I was only thinking that if you are a MFT user who really wants to do some narrow DOF photography a FF system with some older but still good lenses (like 50mm and 85 mm primes) is quite a good way to go as against dedicated manual focus m43 lenses. Even the new 75mm 1.8 acts for DOF purposes much like a 135 3.5 and won't give you the creaminess of 135 f2 or 1.8 primes. Now there's no reason you have to care about that - and I got some quite nice pictures with an old Zuiko 135mm f3.5 in the old days of film - but it's not quite the same. But I accept that's a specialised interest - and for most purposes in good light M43 is the way to go. If it weren't for the tilt shift lenses and for focus tracking for wildlife I'd probably sell off my FF gear -- the better low light and thin DOF are nice but don't justify the investment of a whole kit. But maybe I would pick up an old 5d classic and couple of fast old primes.

And I certainly don't think that FF is the ultimate; if I were a landscape photographer professionally I'd much prefer a medium format kit rather than the Nikon or Canon built in grip behemoths.
