This seems to be a uniform response (esp with regards to auto focus). The folks who have the x-pro 1 comment that focus can be finicky but there are a few tricks to make it work better than expected (i.e, than if you don't use the tricks). However the sensor seems to be rather nice and there have been positive comments about the jpeg engine (for those who care about such things). Also there have been a few comments that fuji might be playing some 'tricks' (though I never quite understood why it mattered if the end results are decent (good detail/resolution/low noise/imperfection).
