I follow the reviews etc of the X Pro 1 pretty closely and people seem to be able to focus all right, a part from real fast tracking. I believe it is the kind of camera you have to work around to get what you want, like the X100. The Jpeg files look gorgeous and it apparently sells like hotcakes. You must have read DPR's revview of the E-M5 and tracking fast moving objects did not seem that easy with that camera either.

Maybe the technology is not there yet and we dream a little about DSLR like behaviour in these different hybrid cameras. I keep reading reviews, but my D700 feels really comforting these days. Hard to beat the Nikon technology!
