Yea but no initial impressions? Come on you can't keep us in suspense <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Hey sorry, I put the battery to charge and went for a nap, it was quite an adventure to get my paws on it.
Difficult to say anything original as first impressions but I'll give a few quickies and will dig later the next days.
The button feel. Indeed, the button feedback is something to get used to. No clicks, long travel. People used to Olympus E-x weather sealed bodies argued it was just like this and therefore OK. I think it's still a rather bad feedback, period. We'll see in action. But it's true that you won't push any of them accidentally. As far as I'm concerned, it doesnt look like the button neighboring the shutter release will be a problem.
The hum. what hum?
Viewfinder : definitely pleasant enough, also with glasses.
Screen : gorgeous
Build quality. Silver version has a blue-ish tint. It's extremely obvious when put next to my E-P1 that then looks like a champagne pearl finish. The E-P1 tint I like more. But it really struck me when next to each other. No real complains here. I should say the OMD looks Business (if only a little cocky again with this retro look).
The battery door is now with a lock rather than a self click lock. Dunno... Think I preferred the click.
For the rest, it's a tight fit. Overall it seems they put many things on a very little body but if you think of it. It works and the two most important controls : the wheels are well positioned.
Oh and the thing really is fast and zippy.
cheers,
S.
