It is interesting to see that when the AA filter is removed from the sensor, the camera gets more expensive. When the colour filter is removed, the camera gets even more expensive <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
I used to think that Nikon/Canon could produce a monochrom camera with a much lower price. It seems that I was totally wrong.
Now a question: without the color filter, in principle the camera should have better resolution. But will a colour filter put in front of the lens compensate it? Of course the amount of compensation will depend on the quality of the colour filter.
No doubt a monochrom camera will be very welcome by people who used to be BW film shooters.
