A bunch of tests shots (imperfect ones I agree)
base ISO 200, RAW converted from lr4.1 RC2 to jpeg, no sharpening on export, no CA removal (though it works wonderfully well). I tried to put as much meta data in the filename as Lightroom allows.

Of note , 14mm olympus is wider than 14mm panasonic & 45 mm Olympus is longer than 45mm panasonic.
Might change on different focusing distances.
On overlapping focal lenghts :
14mm : Olys f/3.8 vs Panasonic f/3.5 though both seem to be, at 1/1600s, to be equally exposed but I've never been too good at spotting 1/3rd of a stop.
45mm : Oly f/6 vs Panasonic f/5.6 though both seem to be, at 1/500s, to be equally exposed but I've never been too good at spotting 1/3rd of a stop.
The tree leaves were shaken by the wind, might alter metering I guess.
You2, it occured to me that you seem to be making your decision only on the quality of the kit lens & body & EVF experience you'll have. I think MFT is a clear cut currently because of only one lens : the 20mm 1.7. That thing is crazy. The 45mm isn't bad either.
Happy perusing.
