I'm a bit like you, as soon as I've seen the sharper lens, I'll always go back to it. It seems that resolving power is the last thing you can't software correct and for which I won't accept substitute.
I've walked in the city today with the 14-45 and was very pleased with the results. It seems the transition to 16mp won't need much adaptation after all.
BTW, do you happen to know if the 12-50 has a stepless aperture in video like the 14-140? I guess I could test it but if you know.
I've been thinking about getting the 40-150 but I've always been turned off by the plastic mount, no matter how cheap it is. It's as if I don't want to encourage this downfall to very cheap standards <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
