Hi Wim:
I would like to take this chance to ask you another question: Can a colour filter be used on a colour digital camera? Or, perhaps I shoud put my question this way: is it good to put a colour filter on a lens mounted on a digital camera with a colour sensor, if you intend to get BW photos through post-processing?
I read from a BW photography book that color filters should not be used on a digital camera since otherwise you will make those sensor cells with different colors useless. For example, if you use a red filter, then the green and blue cells on the image sensor will become useless. However, from some other photography books I read that colour filters can be used on digital cameras just as on film cameras. So I am confused.
Best regards,
Frank
