The Pana 14-45 is or was simply a darn good but also somewhat limited kit lens in terms of focal range (this lens starting at 12mm would already have done it for me) and speed. It´s so strange that Olympus didn´t come up as yet with a CDAF-adapted version of their famous 12-60 lens. Anyhow, because the 14-45 is so good I don´t think I´m going to jump on the upcoming Pana 12-35. If reviews demonstrate that it´s sharp at f/2.8 I may eventually reconsider this line of thought though. For the time being I think the Pana 35-100 is the more interesting lens to wait for.
