I'm surprise you found the evf at par with the mft; as I thought the em-5 evf was nicer than the nex-7. Basically I had problem with the nex-7 slow refresh rate (and the pro-1 was much worse). The em-5 is decent pixel density and very high refresh rate; though the view finder is smaller than the nex-7 (which is a negative) as well as not quite as sharp.
No clue how the em-5 compare to olympus other evf. I had tried the gh2 but not in the same room as nex-7/pro-1/em5 and biggest complaint i had with it was it washed out in high contrast (the em-5 handled high contrast better than the nex-7). Of course my comments are based on about 15 minutes of use of each and you have obviously used the nex-7, pro-1 as well as gh2 much more significantly (also my usage was indoors; i could not take the cameras outside).

Some feedback after a couple of hundred shots:
* the AF speed is sufficient but certainly not great
* I struggled a bit with the user interface initially but after a little while it made sense to me
* the EVF is Okay - about on par with the MFT gang but worse than on the NEX 7. The optical VF didn't make too much sense to me.
* the rear display is pretty good
* the build quality is very good although perhaps not outstanding
Lenses:
* the 35/1.4 is excellent with a creamy bokeh
* the 18/2 is Okayish - this is not really my focal length
