Interestingly, all 4 properties also describe the VR implementation in the Nikon 1 lenses <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />



I must admit, though, that with EVFs being the default in mirrorless cameras, one advantage of in-lens stabilization disappeared. Still, the lens approach allows to place the stabilization unit where it works best with minimum effort.
