Well; it is a bit confusing when it comes to comparing tests with samples. Yours was near infinity - right? Also they have not yet tested the 50mm range (that will be in the next article in a few days). Its possible your 12-50 is not as good as theirs (they have the advantage of using multiple lenses). Also in the focal length (14mm and 25mm) they tested so far the difference was mostly in the corner; it will be interesting to see the long end tested.
Last but least they provide mtf50; which I believe is resolution; the 14-45 might also have more contrast which helps emphasize details.

Oh well I don't know. So far the two data points that surprise me were the 25f1.4 had relatively low resolution (compared to the other primes) and the 12f2 was higher than I expected.

I wonder if anyone here has played with the voigtlander 25f0.95. They also tested that lens; for a fast lens it had very high mtf around f2. Kind of miserly pricey.
