Interesting. When the rumoured $1500 price came out, I was thinking how much they are going to pare from the feature-set to get to that price-point. Sure, plastic body would help, but it seemed to me that they would have to go mirrorles like the Pentax K-01 and strip out the mirror, penta-prism, autofocus system, etc.



Now that Aptina has been linked, considering that they make the V1/J1 mirroless sensors with sensor embedded autofocus, this seems more and more likely, IMHO.
