Nikkor 28/1.8G completely unsuitable for landscapes

A whole lesson about circles of confusion and mentions of dofmaster has no place here are all (*if it even has anywhere).



The original poster has noticed that the depth of field in the center of the image is a lot bigger than at the right, and more so at the left side.



While focus is quite close to the photographer in both images, in the center of the image far away houses and other objects are relatively in focus. On the edges things look totally different.
