Every lens ever made has faults of one kind or another. In the scheme of things a little purple haze at 10mm is not of that great an importance, how well it performs taking real world photos is. The purple haze need not be that much of a problem with any decent PP. In fact Sony could easily adjust both the JPG and RAW output in camera just as they do with the RX100 and Hasselblad does with its 28mm lens and so on.
And with a 24MP image to play with, any slight loss in sharpness or a bit of extra grain is not as important. Printing of the image will also smooth out any small quirks left after PP action has been taken.
