Sigh. I am not comparing it to any 85mm lens. I am just lloking at how it does bokeh wise (not blur wise).
It does exactly wrong what the Nikon 35mm f1.4 does wrong. Very smooth foreground bokeh and then "double" background bokeh.

You get "double" OOF subject edges, making the bokeh character rather bad.
There are lenses in this focal length class that do better:
Sigma 30mm f1.4 EX DC
Nikon 40mm f2.8 Micro
Sony 35mm f1.8 DT
Canon 35mm f2

Not sure about the Samyang 35mm f1.4. It probably doesn't have too nice a bokeh character.. sometimes it does rather nice:
