Sure it is not super easy, but after seeing more than one shot from a lens one does get a feel of how it does. No Sigma 35mm f1.4 image I have seen has nice bokeh, so it is safe to say its on the less attractive end easily...
It is not all that hard to get a feel of bokeh with different shots either.
