A percentage means nothing unless it is specified to what is related. 35% of what? Unit sales? Profits? Which level, High End, consumer? It's even possible you are both making a true point <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':angry:' />

But I have also to say that Japan market direction proved not to be so significant when it comes to the rest of the world.. think to the colorful cameras, for example, not to talk about the fact they love tiny designs above all.
