yes, there is another 2470 i have that has some difficult bokeh at only a particular point and setting of the zoom (obvious with hi-contrast foliage to sky) maybe within a very short range at 55mm i think, can't remember - the best part i can remember about it was a somewhat small joke post at the time with markus re. a reshoot - anyway i haven't had a chance to look if this one is similar, i will….

- here you are, almost instant service that maybe will help the bokeh question- here below is another shot that is a better demo of various levels of out of focus with various levels of contrast at a different point of zoom, in this case 24mm and f/4



- and looking at the bubble shot again, i think it is the size of the points of highlight on those leaves in that shot that is the difficult thing



- and, i do have a another nicer shot of this little plant but it doesn't show the contrast at the top so well - so i'll have to show this lesser shot, sorry
