I think it is a great move if the EVF indeed holds up to its promise. Pellicle cameras shouldn't be a problem anymore considering the sensitivity of sensors; with film that was a bit more of a problem. Now imagine Canon's new (unfortunately non-production as of yet) 120 MP sensor coupled to this, allowing for the selection of a specific part of the image only, still at very high resolution <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
' />. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' />
As it appears Sony has finally solved their high iso noise problems, these two little cameras may well prove to be bestsellers indeed.
Kind regards, Wim
