Personally, I'd prefer the Nikon because of its faster aperture and AF-S.
However, you'll have to pay considerably more for the Nikkor, unless you find a heavily used one (which I'd hesitate to buy).
Currently I am using 20mm f4 and 35mm f2. The only reason I look in to this option is to avoid lens change. 2 weeks ago I was taking pictures of a dunes, wind was calm, but I figured out that if it wasn't I couldn't change lenses. Any suggestions besides N 17-35?
