<p style="font-size:12px;font-family:Helvetica;">these shots (100% crop) show where i would need to set micro-focus (7D) for this lens in order to make what i want to be sharp in a picture sharp rather than somewhere else in the scene - the white card is the focus point, the moving feast is in the sands of time -

<p style="font-size:12px;font-family:Helvetica;">the picture ids tell all - ie. (so far the weather has only allowed) 24mm@f/4 & f/8 + 70mm@f/4 & f/8, the plus or minus indicate the mf settings - more in-between settings to come, but i'm thinking that 50-70mm will be roughly constant and 45-24mm will radically change peaking at f/4@24mm - but i could be wrong
