Anyway, it does not matter. Fact is that the 24-70/4L is way overpriced no matter what.
Overpriced ?

Do you base that on your own testing ?

I just had the chance to make a few test shots with the Canon 24-70mm f/4, and as far as I can see, it does not show signs of focus shifts / RSA.

 

You may have tested a faulty lens, and personally I find it hard to believe the results of this test !
