Once I was in Wales, visiting the amazing Portmeirion village. Weather was cloudy with some sunbeams inbetween, light was creamy. After taking lots of pictures I enterred a dog cemetery, which was just suiting that architectural interesting place, in the mid of a forest. The sun came out and to me the scenery was beautiful.
And the spare battery in the car, half an hour away, off the village's ground. I knew the battery was running low but was too confident that it's the battery grip's one, not the spare one in camera. And I knew as well, the light situation was "once a day only", after coming back from the car with a fresh battery and not getting AA-types in the village, all the magic was not gone, but very different from what was shown to me before.
