From my limited personal experience with the 7D and things I have heard from others using the camera it seems to me the 7D is easily the best and most professional APS-C EOS to date.

,,,And yet...Klaus has made an adverse comment or two about the 7D's IQ here and there has been quite a number of criticisms of its IQ by users over at dpreview, particularly concerning low ISO noise and banding. Tylerken, who hosts the wildlife thread on the Canon Lens Forum on dpr (and is a top bird photographer) bought one to shoot BIF with his 500 f4L IS and was pretty dissatisfied with its IQ (not the AF). So he sold it and got a 1D MkIV. Not that I suggest Toni-a should do the same.

PS. Don't understand this new forum. I see I'm down as a newbie but have been posting here for nearly 5 years.
