Now that I've seen the out of focus rendition at T2 as well as T1.5, I'm not sure what it is. The "center" of the double-bokeh is the same size as the oof rendition at t2, so all of the 'extra' is within the light path for f/1.4. Perhaps one of the aspheres induces very strong 3rd order spherical to counterbalance the 5th order spherical that will develop at f1.4.
