Indeed, the impression I get from these early sample images is that OOF parts are rendered quite agreeable, contrary to the pet peeve I have about the Sigma 35mm f1.4. The two 35mm f1.4's I did like, uptil now, where bokeh is concerned were manual focus lenses (the current Zeiss and the old Nikkor). This Canon has a way too steep price though, for me to think about getting one. But I am not the customer they target with it.
