Quote:I'd love to have a camera which doesn't need all this ado to correct the indirect focussing. Which may be fast, but also inaccurate. In most cases less fast lenses compensate with their large DoF the inaccuracies. But having slightly more expensive fast glass, I want to see accurate focus. And that's where's my frustration at times comes from. LiveView would be mor accurate, but it takes so much time it's pointless to use AF lenses - unless the body is already mirrorless. Oh, and since you asked: I'm still thinking of trying one of the Sony A7 types. My colleague just got one A7RII and I'm curious to hear his latest comments when I'm coming back from holidays.I see your point and there are great advantages with on sensor PDAF, accuracy being one and AF points across the screen another, however there are more aspects of AF that are not so well served by the system. AF-C is one of them. I have yet to find a action/nature photographer who extols the virtues of the system for shooting say BIF or other more difficult subjects where subjects are moving erratically.

This is a good test review of the new Sony, IMHO it's still not there for action shooting and there's still the question of 600mm lenses!
I'm also totally impressed by the Nikon D750's AF system with any lens!
